There has been a major development taking place in preparations for the upcoming Kumbh Mela 2025. Indian Railways has recently announced that it will operate 900 trains to Prayagraj District. These are special trains that are going to be managed specially for Kumbh Mela 2025. These new trains will benefit tourists who want to travel by railways during the Kumbh Mela 2025.

AI-based cameras will be installed at every station and railway yard for more security. Additionally, 21 Railways over bridges and under bridges are being built for the convenience of the pilgrims. Doubling of tracks will also help handle the increased number of tourists. More railway tracks are being built at the Janghai Phaphamau section and Varanasi-Prayagraj section.

What did Railway Board Chairman Jaya Verma Sinha say?

The Railway Board Chairman, Mr. Jaya Verma Sinha monitored the preparations at major railway stations in Prayagraj and interacted with the top officials. He inspected over the preparations at Prayagraj Sangam Station, Prayag Junction, Prayagraj Railway Junction Station, and Phaphamau Junction station.

A railway spokesman spoke about this recent development and said that it was a very important decision by the Indian Railways to declare additional trains to Kumbh Mela 2025. More than 30 crore pilgrims are going to participate in 2025 Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj. They prefer trains as the main mode of public transport and therefore the decision is welcome news to all the tourists who are planning to visit Prayagraj during the Kumbh Mela 2025.

Indian Railways is also working on a carefully designed plan for crowd management. They are working according to an action plan that involves the safe movement of pilgrims during Kumbh Mela 2025. Large screens will be installed in control tower rooms to watch the movement of tourists and prevent any untoward incidents or accidents. In addition, high-quality equipment will be used for making announcements to the crowd.

Restrooms, shelters, toilets, booking counters, water booths, CCTV cameras, electric lighting systems, food stalls, medical booths, and security posts will bring more security to the pilgrims. All these measures by the Indian Railways are a commendable act and will bring about a sense of security and comfort to the tourists at the upcoming 2025 Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj.
