The Mahakumbh 2025 at Prayagraj is just about to begin. The Yogi Adityanath-led UP government has planned to boost tourism in a big way to celebrate this mega event. As part of the planning, the UP government is all set to build a Digital Kumbh Museum in Prayagraj. The museum will be a huge tourist attraction to the millions of people who visit Prayagraj in 2025. This museum will be a showcase of the historic Kumbh Mela and a digital and virtual platform.
Big Boost to UP Tourism and Kumbh Mela
The Digital Kumbh Museum is set to become an exciting tourist attraction during the upcoming Mahakumbh 2025 at Prayagraj. The museum will be built at a cost of Rs.60 crores. The Tourism Department recently made a proposal to build the museum to the Chief Secretary. When it is built, it will eventually, showcase the cultural, spiritual, and religious aspects of the Kumbh Mela. It will also portray the ideals and visions of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath to magnify Kumhh Mela to the world stage.

Devotees will have a modern-day view of the Kumbh Mela when they visit this Digital Kumbh Museum. It will have the latest VR technology and other rich features that will elevate the cultural experience of Kumbh Mela 2025.

- The museum will showcase Sanatan Dharma and the lives of saints, sages, and seers, through various exhibits.
- A handicraft village, exhibition hall, a pond, parking, food plaza, souvenir shop, and guest house to be part of the museum.
- VR Technology and Holograms to be used for an immersive experience at the museum.
